Making a Difference
Be a part of a purpose-driven organization that is dedicated to making the lives of indigenous people on the Flathead Indian Reservation better.
Our employees share a commitment to excellence in the government contracts we serve while creating an engaging work environment where our employees are challenged to grow, develop, and excel. Every employee throughout S&K can contribute their best work each day, in every interaction, with our customers, our vendors, and with each other.
We value and encourage our employees’ commitment to our Shareholder, the Confederated Salish & Kootenai Tribes, as much as we value and support their commitment to the communities in which they live and work.
S&K is a place where you are rewarded, encouraged, and valued for the difference you make for our customers and, most importantly, in the lives of the Confederated Salish & Kootenai Tribes located in Montana. Look at what we offer.
All Qualified Applicants Will Receive Consideration for Employment Without Regard To Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Disability, Veteran Status or any other federally protected class.

As a leader in S&K, I work to balance the needs of my teams and my customers. I see this as my opportunity to the bridge our collective goals and create solid relationships.
Every day is a new challenge that allows me to stretch my knowledge and do my best for our customers. I love turning challenge into opportunity.
My entire 20-year career with S&K has been filled with support, encouragement, motivation, empowerment, trust, and building me to my next level. I am supported in both my professional and personal life and I simply cannot see myself working anywhere else. S&K is my family.
I spent almost half of my life serving in the Air Force. S&K has supported the military all over the world on many different contracts. I am very proud to be part of a company that loves and supports its military service members; it gives me the feeling of continuing my service to this great country.
For me, it is a great honor to serve my tribe by being a part of the S&K team, where we are dedicated to customer excellence and the support and improvement of my Salish and Kootenai tribal members.
After just a month working with the company, I can feel how proud the employees are about the organization and its mission. I love the strong commitment to a higher purpose!
Before coming to America, I knew very little about Native Americans and their cultures. Being part of the S&K family for seven years has changed that for me, and I am now very proud to serve the Salish, Kootenai, and Pend d'Oreille people!
Working in IT is my dream job and S&K affords me the opportunity to live and work in a great place for a great company.
S&K has been good to me over the years. During my employment, I have known S&K to go the extra mile. At the onset of the current pandemic, I could have shared in the fear and anxiety. I could have, but I had already experienced the level of care and concern S&K puts forth for its employees and their families. Instead, I found myself entirely secure in the knowledge that, with S&K behind us, there is nothing in front of us that cannot be overcome. I am S&K proud because we are S&K strong.
S&K has been a godsend for me in so many ways. I truly love my job and am extremely thankful to work with such an incredible group of people every day!
