International Towers (ITL) has been awarded a $42.9 million contract to renovate a Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) warehouse in Columbus, Ohio.
The project, issued as a firm fixed-price contract, calls for a full renovation and modernization of the logistics facility. Oversight will be handled by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).
This award marks another major win for ITL within the DLA’s nationwide infrastructure modernization initiative.
The work will be led by ITL’s Building Division under Senior Vice President Steve Martin. The division recently completed a similar renovation at a DLA site in Richmond, Virginia, earning high performance ratings from both the DLA and USACE.
“This award strengthens our growing relationship with the USACE and DLA and reflects the confidence federal agencies continue to place in our team,” said Nick Vespa, President of International Towers. He credited Martin and his team for building a record of delivering successful federal construction projects.
